Endometriosis remains widely underdiagnosed, underfunded, and misunderstood—particularly for Black women. Despite growing national awareness, Black women continue to face delayed diagnoses, inadequate pain management, limited representation in research, and inequitable access to culturally responsive care.
The Black & Endo Roundtable is designed to move beyond awareness and toward action. This solutions-oriented convening will create space for honest dialogue, shared learning, and strategic alignment across sectors. Participants will explore systemic barriers impacting Black women with endometriosis and collaboratively identify opportunities for change across clinical care, research, and policy.
By the conclusion of the roundtable, participants will work toward:
- Building a shared understanding of the unique needs and barriers facing Black women with endometriosis
- Identifying key gaps in care delivery, research inclusion, and policy
- Developing a short set of clear, actionable priorities to guide collective action beyond the convening
A post-roundtable summary will capture themes, recommendations, and next steps to support continued collaboration and accountability.
